Hey ya! I just changed the Whuzzupp theme to a much better Earthworm Jim 2 song and I updated the long-forgotten Linx section. I also want to congradulate Eric on his new laptop. Hopefully he’ll update more now.
Well kids, I finally got my hands on the new Yu-Gi-Oh Online game and I gotta tell ya, it’s got potential. Imagine a Yu-Gi-Oh game that is never out of date; it has all the booster sets and promos, plus there’s a possibility that Upper Deck might release cards exclusive to Yu-Gi-Oh Online. You never know (wink, wink). However, there are drawbacks to the game. Actually, they’re more of double-edged swords than disadvantages. The game has a timer; you get 180 seconds to complete your turn and 30 seconds to decide whether or not to activate the effect of a card. If you run out of time for either situation, you automatically lose. This has actually helped me win a couple duels. On the whole (heh, heh), I like the timer because it eliminates the real scorge of the Yu-Gi-Oh game: the 1-hour turn-takers.
You know the type. The kind of people who just bought a Starter Deck and who can’t decide between wearing black or white socks. Or the kind who used to or still does play Magic or D&D or a similar game, and they’re used to taking forever to finish, and they take ages to finally Set a Monster and End their Turn. No offense to newbies, or the apperantly offensive term n00b, but sometimes you annoy me. Lucky for you, most of the time I’m willing to help you guys out. *sigh* Had to get that off my chest.
By the way, if any of you out there also have the game, my online name is “04smelsa”. We’ll duel sometime. Anyway, the online service is free until around April, but I don’t care. I’ll probably subscribe anyway.
In other news, the effects of the tsunami still ring here in Ohio, in the form of consistantly BLAH weather. It’s either raining or cloudy. I feel like I’m in Seattle. Now, why do I feel the urge to play Nirvana…?
Anyway, I also added some cool pics in the About Me section. They’re some of my favorite characters. Well, I gotta go. Bye!
