Hey, how goes it? Well kids, I’ve got good news and bad news. The bad news is that Ben a.k.a. the main proponent of the ODK movement, has officially retired from dueling. It was a hard thing for me to accept because he was without a doubt my toughest opponent. In the King of Games tourney, when it came down to me and Ben in the finals, I thought for sure I was toast because he had both CED and BLS in his deck (this was a Traditional Format tourney). But luckly for me, I was able to capitalize quickly before he had the time to summon either of them. I’ll admit, I got lucky when I beat him. But a win is a win, regardless of luck. But I’m sure that when I say that he will be missed as a Duelist, everyone will agree with me (although they won’t admit it; they’re probably happy that he quit because he was too tough for them.)

Now, on to the good news. With Ben relinquishing his Duelist status, he had no need for his deck so he’s selling all of his cards. And I managed to super-gank Mirror Force, Monster Reincarnation, and at long last CED. Fear Lord CED!!

So I suppose all is not lost.Or is it? Since Ben left the Duelist Circle, several others have thought of selling their cards for a quick buck or two. Case-In-Point: Jake and I were talking about him possibly selling his cards like Ben. I told him that everybody goes through a funk. Whether it’s a “where’s my life going?” funk or an “I don’t know if I wanna Duel anymore” funk, we’ve all been there. But we also bounce back. Those who don’t are dead, either physically or mentally.

I remember when I was in a Duelist funk, and then I invented the Dueling Dice Monsters game, a healthy combo of the TCG and Dungeon Dice Monsters. I bounced back. When I was in another Duelist funk, E announced his King of Games tourney. Again, I bounced back (and won 1st place, I might add). So even though it sounds super-corny, I guess Yu-Gi-Oh! is all about having fun with your friends. Playing the game is no different than playing b-ball, going to the pool, or just chillin with your friends. In principal, I mean. It’s just another way to have fun with your friends. Remember that, and you will never truly fall into a Duelist funk.

Well, I just had to get that off my chest. Anyway, now for the real reason you probably came here: updates! I’ve been trying to update the Yu-Gi-Oh! Episode Guide, but to no avail. I will keep on trying when I can. I have updated the Yu-Gi-Oh! section, though. I recently got word about a new tourney at Cards-n-Stuff. Check it out in the Tournament page. I also added the names of some Yu-Gi-Oh! video games I forgot. I added some new pics and a modified Ninja Gaiden Masked Devil theme in the About Me page and I gave the Navi a new Mortal Kombat Player Select Screen theme. I also am announcing the creation of Ultra TT:GC! Not much is available on it now, but I will keep you updated. Speaking of TT:GC, I added an extra season to it in order to spread out the story, totaling TT:GC to 8 seasons. I also decided to make a special series for TT:GC called TT:GC Origins. It will tell, obviously, the origins of each Titan and the main villains. I am also adding a new section to the Navi: the Ranma 1/2 section. It will take a while for it to be fully operational, but it’s an anime that I wanted to discuss.

Well, guys, it’s been fun seeing all your smiling faces, but I must leave you now. Until next time, be kool, rule school.

“Is it the light with the house on?”

-Me asking Jake which house is his.
