Hey everybody it’s the Andy-San here in my room rockin’ out.
I got my essay of awesomeness back from my Eng-101 teacher and I got an A+ on it!!! I guess it pays to stay up til 4 in the morning working on schoolwork!!
After class, I went to work in the IT department. I worked with this one PC with a ton of spyware and crap on it and it wouldn’t let me delete most of it. Phil and I also took a trip to the mailroom to see what Shizzon’s problem was. Apparently the mailroom runs on a completely different fabric of reality than the rest of the world. Phil told Shizzon that the problem was that he plugged in a phone cable into a CAT-5 port and that wouldn’t work, to which Shizzon replied that the mailroom HAS ALWAYS run with that configuration. Phil then went cord hunting, which to his utter amazement he found cords that led to seemingly endless pits and a bit of other stuff that should never work properly in its configuration. We left without fixing it and delegated it to Adam. <anger> So the moral of the story is to not argue with the IT guys because we’re trying to help people and we can’t help people if they don’t cooperate with us. Trust us, we know what we’re doing. If we didn’t then you wouldn’t have called us now would you? </anger>
My Eng-100 class was especially interesting today. Now to give you an idea of what the class is like, picture fucking up in school so bad that you’re sent back to 2nd grade. Initially, I thought it was a bad thing to be sent to such a low-level class. However as the classes went by, I began to enjoy coming to class; not because I liked the class but because I liked the people. To give you a demograph, it’s 2 white boys, around 10 or so Chinese students, and a black teacher. At first I felt really out of place in the class, but then I began to feel at home. We played some in-class game and one of my teammates noticed that I was wearing a shirt with Bruce Lee on it. I told him that it was indeed Bruce Lee and one of my other teammates asked if I played kung-fu. I laughed because of the sheer irony of it and it really opened my eyes to the Chinese culture. Although I never stereotyped Asians before because I knew that they were more than kung-fu and rice, it was a surreal moment when an Asian addressed the stereotypes albeit in a joking manner. I now have more respect for my fellow students in Eng-100 than ever before and I can’t wait for next class.
In other news, one of my roommate’s friends came over and she could play guitar fairly well. My only gripe is that she really likes country music and I don’t unless I’m depressed. I tried to get a drunken audiance again this past weekend but it didn’t happen. Speaking of drunkeness, I tried Sparks for the first time on Saturday and it was pretty good. I think I’ll get a 6-pack on either Friday or Saturday.
Dan wants to start a social experiment today; every Monday during dinner he’s going to sit at a different table to see what other people’s reactions will be. He has discovered that it’s high school all over again at the UU and the seating arrangements reflect this. He wants to screw with the current arrangements in order to destroy the cliques and allow all sorts of people to sit wherever with whoever. I will join him in this experiment and sit at the Chinese students’ table and I believe that Dan will start out by grabbing the bull by the horns with the jocks’ table.
Well I’m gonna take a shit cuz I do believe that I am leaking. Peace!
Andy-San

I’m sorry. I don’t want to be rude or anything, but I can’t tell who you are from your picture. Can you refresh my memory?
