Boredom Is Serious Business!!!

Hey it’s the Andy-San here chillin’ after yet another boring day.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me but it seems that ever since I came back from vacation I’ve been bored to tears. All I gotsta say is that I can’t wait to go back to college. Speaking of which, I called that lady back today. Apparently my ITT Tech transcript was being reviewed by the professors to determine what classes I don’t need to take at Bluffton. She told me that once she’s reviewed it herself we’ll see if I can get in or not. I got a message from her when I came back home from E’s to call her tomarrow.

In other news, I’m gonna try to improve my guitar playing again. I got yet another video to help me out and I think that this one’s more simplified that the other ones. I’ve learned to play Ode to Joy and now I gotta practice like a mofo so I can go to the next lesson. I told myself that I’m not gonna go so far ahead that I’d be lost again. For all you teaching types, I’m applying the “hard concrete” principle. The idea of it is that learning things is like stacking concrete bricks. First you mold the wet brick, then you solidify the brick, stack another wet brick on top of it and repeat. If your bottom skills are solid then your overall learning structure is solid as well and it should be easy for you to learn more things. If one of your bricks is wet then more skills you put on top of it would cause them to fall off. So let’s break it down: concrete is whatever you’re learning and practice is the hardening of the concrete. Pretty koo eh?

Well I’m gonna go to bed cuz my hand hurts from practicing and I’m tired so night!
