How Can You Donate?
Currently, I can accept donations via PayPal or your credit, debit, or check card. I’m looking into getting a P.O. Box set up in the future so you can make donations via check or money order as well as send me stuff. Also, I always have two donation buttons in every blog post: one at the beginning and one at the end.
Where Do The Donations Go?
Although the costs of maintaining TheAndySan.com are relatively low in comparison to other websites ($95.40 a year for hosting and $9.95 a year for the domain name, all through DreamHost.com, which adds up to $105.35 a year), as the traffic to this website increase, so will the costs in maintaining said traffic.
How Will Your Donations Affect TheAndySan.com?
As my income from TheAndySan.com increases, my dependency on mundane methods of generating income to cover my living expenses, namely a regular 9-5 job, will decrease. What does this mean for you the reader? It means that instead of spending a good chunk of my day performing a monotonus activity to make end’s meet, I’ll be putting that time to good use by creating higher-quality posts in different ways.
One way I would like to improve the quality of my posts here on TheAndySan.com is to blog about travelling to new locations. When I do finally go to Japan, expect a lot of excellent vlogs showing the landscape as well as life in Japan for a twenty-something American foreigner. Besides Japan, I would like to go on a road trip around America to broaden my prospective on this great country.
Another way I’d like to improve the quality of my posts is to buy various new things and review them. Although I can review some things like anime, I would like to expand my palate to reviewing guitars and guitar equipment like amplifiers, pickups, effect pedals, amp speakers, amp tubes, etc. Those were just a small sample of product ideas as I would like to branch out and review other products.
