It’s Blog Action Day!!!

I’m killing poverty today, one little Lithuanian boy at a time! Wait a minute, Lithuanians aren’t poor? And we’re suppose to save them? Oh, okay then. Hehe.

With America’s economy being what it is, it’s easy for us to lose our perspective on the global situation. I know that there are people out there who would kill to have clean running water and food within a mile of their home.

I’m not just talking about HIV-laden kids in Africa, but also in our own country. We are, no pun intended, widely considered the fattest nation in the world. And yet, we still have people roaming our streets for food. WTF, mate?

Although I do not have extra income to donate or transportation to volunteer, I will do my part by spreading the message. At the bottom of this post, you’ll find a button that’ll link you to the main Blog Action Day website. You’ll find more info on the situation and what you can do to help.
