I ran across something interesting today called ShopWatchBuy.
What it is basically is a new way to advertise products that you’re selling using online video clips. You could show off the product, how it works, post various reviews of the product by your customers, the list goes on.
I think it’s finally time that business owners and merchants fully harness the power that social media can give them in order to not only reach a wider audience at little to no cost, but to enhance the shopping experience by offering a better insight to their products as well as another outlet for customers to buy them from.
Although ShopWatchBuy is under the radar right now in comparison to other social media networks like Twitter and Facebook, I’m sure that if it keeps on going in the direction it’s heading, it’ll turn into something really interesting in the near future.
Too bad I’m not selling anything at the moment, but if I were, I would be using ShopWatchBuy to help me sell my products by showcasing what my products could do for the average consumer as well as give a more detailed look at the products.
Many times, I’ve run across the issue of “not enough pictures” or “not enough different angles” when I’m looking to buy something online.
Ultimately, I would recommend viewing a product that you want to buy in person so that you can get a, no pun intended, hands-on experience. However, ShopWatchBuy seems to be as close as you can get to a product without physically touching it.
Lastly, I leave you with links to how ShopWatchBuy’s embedABLE technology works, a brief introduction to the company, ShopWatchBuy Pricing, and ShopWatchBuy Learning Center.
Tell me what you guys think in the comments below!
