According to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, I am an INTJ, a very rare type (only 1-2% of the population). An INTJ personality is one of Introverted Intuition with Extroverted Thinking. In a nutshell, this means that I feel most comfortable by myself and I have a knack for developing ideas. I also found out recently that Steve Pavlina used to be an INTJ before he changed into an ENTJ. You can find more information on the MBTI as well as tests to see what type you are at I Will Not Die.com.
I would like to admit that I am an information addict. In my quest for more more more, I have found a way to watch more videos in less time. It’s not the most original idea, but I find it to be effective.
First, download the VLC Media Player. Then, open up either a video or audio file. In the very bottom area close to the right, there is a box that says “1.00x”. Right-click that box and drag the slider up or down to speed up or slow down the file’s playing speed. I usually stick with no more than 1.50x.
Although speeding media up won’t give me a whole lot of extra time to play with, it can be surprisingly effective if you use it frequently. Trust me, those extra seconds and minutes add up! Besides saving time, it’s also a fun way to enjoy music or videos. It can also lead to inspiration. Hearing a song just a little bit faster or at a higher pitch can change it completely.
